Complete the first two years of general education and academic major requirements at Shoreline Community College, either online or in-person, to earn an Associate of Arts or Science degree. Then, with guidance from our expert academic advisors, apply and transfer to universities across the United States where you complete your final two years and earn your bachelor's degree.

HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION PLUS

This early college program allows you to begin your college-level studies early and go on to finish your four-year degree early too! Save time and money by taking classes to complete a US high school diploma and associate's degree at the same time. This program is open to students who have completed the equivalent of 9th grade in the US, are at least 16 years old, and in strong academic standing.

STUDENTS ACCOMMODATION

#1 On-Campus Housing

​

Shoreline's newest and most convenient housing option is now available to Shoreline students who are at least 17 years old! Located in the heart of the College's 83 acres, the new building features 68 units that house over 200 beds with shared living rooms and kitchens. Furnishings, utilities, and 24/7 security and staff are all included in the monthly rent! This is the closest living option possible and allows students to get to any class by walking 10 minutes or less.

​

#2 Homestay

​

Malaysian students at Shoreline have the great opportunity to live in a homestay. This allows students to live in a private bedroom with a meal plan in the home of a local, American family. This is a great way for students to improve your English language skills and learn more about the Seattle community.

STUDENT LIFE

#1 Student Clubs & Organisations

​

Shoreline offers over 50 student clubs and organisations including the award winning DECA business club, International Club, Anime Club, Vocal Association Club and many more. We encourage all students to get involved.

​

#2 On-Campus Employment

​

Students can work on campus at Shoreline Community College if they maintain F-1 status. Job opportunities include tutoring, residential life, food service, student leadership, among others. Over 150 international students find on-campus jobs each year.

​

#3 Athletics

​

The Shoreline Athletic Department is a proud member of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). Students interested in playing on one of their teams are welcome to submit your athletic videos to their coaches prior to arriving in the US or you can try-out after you arrive to campus.

​

In addition to intercollegiate athletics, Shoreline also offers a variety of intramural sports and wellness and fitness activities and classes.
