WHAT IS AN ASSOCIATE DEGREE?

An associate degree is equivalent to the first two years of a four-year university degree. With an associate degree, students can enter into the third year of a university's bachelor's degree program.

Associate degrees that are offered at Columbia College:

  • Associate of Arts in Business Administration

  • Associate of Arts in Economics

  • Associate of Arts in General Arts

  • Associate of Arts in International Studies

  • Associate of Arts in Mass Communication

  • Associate of Arts in Political Science

  • Associate of Arts in Psychology

  • Associate of Science in Computer Science

  • Associate of Science in General Science

  • Associate of Science in Mathematics

After completion of an associate degree, students can apply directly to a university or apply for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).

UNIVERSITY TRANSFER 

Students will take up to 60 credits at their first and second year level at Columbia College and transfer those credits to universities in British Columbia and across Canada, such as:
