The International Foundation Year is a pre-university course designed to prepare you to enter the first year of an undergraduate degree at Keele. You will study a range of academic subjects, study skills and English language modules over two semesters. Your classes will deepen your understanding of the subjects which interest you, helping you access a wide variety of degree options and career paths.

 

The International Foundation is available in two pathways: Business, Economics and Computing or Social Studies and Humanities. You will be assessed regularly throughout your course so your tutors can monitor your progress and make sure you are achieving your goals.

Entry Requirement 

​

Age: 17 years of age or above.

 

Academic Requirement: SPM school- Form 5, Term 2 or Mid-Year transcript - Grades of A- C achieved in 4 relevant academic subjects to include English and Maths. SPM (Malaysia Certificate of Education) with 4 C grades or above in relevant subjects, to include English and Maths.

 

English Language Requirement: Academic IELTS for UKVI 4.5 overall (minimum 4.5 in writing and reading and minimum 4.0 in other skills)
